Shepherding
I am married to my beautiful wife, Julie, and we have 6 children and 2 grandchildren.
God has called me to bring the flourishing life of Jesus to others through encouragement and joy, to be a good shepherd to the sheep using the rod and staff, and to equip the body to walk in the five-fold gift of shepherding.
The picture behind this calling is Psalm 23:4: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." The rod protects and the staff guides, and my prayer is that everyone at Overflow would know that same nearness and care from the Good Shepherd.
